Can I see all of my horses through Fred?

Yep, that's what we're here for - jump in and search for your horse name, and if it's been registered with Racing Australia and has an official name, you're good to go. If for some reason you can't find it, hit us up through the app.

How is Fred different to Prism and MiStable?

Fred has heaps of handy racing info, but it's also all about the social side with private chat groups, your personal race events, and a marketplace to buy your next horse if you've already got the bug. And if your trainer is not with Prism or MiStable, you can still find any registered horse on Fred.

Why should I join Fred?

How can you not join Fred??! Designed by owners, for owners, Fred's got all your horses in one simple app, making ownership even more fun on and off track. Whether you're in one horse or 10, by yourself or in a syndicate, you'll love having everything in one place, connecting with other owners and inviting friends and family to come along for the ride.

Do I have to own a horse to join Fred?

Nope! But we're warning you... you'll get a taste for the fun of racehorse ownership when you join. All you need is a friend or family who owns a horse and is using the Fred app. You can then simply following their horse so you can experience ownership for yourself.

How do I become a horse owner?

Download and install Fred. Then go ahead and check out the marketplace tab in the app to find a list of trainers/syndicators, or navigate to Me>Support>'New Owner Enquiry' to send us your deets. One of the Fred team will be in touch to help you get started.

Do I need a credit card to sign up to Fred?

No. Fred is currently a free app and all you need is your mobile and an email address and a couple of thumbs to get tapping away.

If I'm part of a syndicate, will Fred still recognise me as an owner?

You bet! Syndicate members and individual owners have the same access to Fred, including private chat groups just for your crew.

I'm an owner in a large syndicate and my name is not registered with Racing Australia - how do I sign-up? ie. large MiRunners syndicate or an owners club member.

If you're not a named owner with Racing Australia, you're still a friend of ours. Simply find your horse in the app, look for the named owner representing your group and link yourself to them as a 'Club Member' connection. Easy! Note: if they haven't yet signed up to Fred you'll be able to nudge them in the right direction.

Is Fred just for iPhone users?

Hell no! The new Fred app is available on both iOS and Android, so no gear change required.

Can I invite my friends to use Fred?

You sure can! If you are sick of telling your mates when your horse is racing next just tell them to download the Fred app, search for your horse and then connect to you.
